Today our lesson title is about the INTRODUCTION TO ADVERTISING ...



Advertising is paid persuasive communication and uses non-personal mass media to reach broad audiences to connect an identified sponsor with a target audience.


Five basic components:

  • Paid communication
  • Sponsor is identified
  • Tries to persuade or influence
  • Reaches a large audience
  • Conveyed through impersonal mass media

The advantages and Disadvantages about Advertising.




Advantages:

Advertising has many merits.It produces a recommend for better standard of living.It sets up before a person the objective of a superior home, better clothing and better food. It brings the producer and the purchaser seal together. It boots up business and promotes business activity.

Disadvantages:

Some opponents call it a competitive swindle. Some of the advertising mislead people and they are enthralling to buy inferior things. Nevertheless, the case for advertising is stronger than the case against it has alleviated business and has increased the volume of trade.
